1. Write an awesome job description

3. Start employee referral programmes 

InMobi is a company that instead of hiring an external experts for branding, they hired two college interns for their branding. It rewarded “experiences” for referrals, as opposed to cash amounts – such as international vacations and iPhones. 

Results: Referral numbers rose by over 100%, while InMobi’s recruitment costs reduced by 95%!

4. Encourage talent mobility 

DBS Bank has its own internal mobility programme that facilitates transfers to other departments or DBS' 6 key markets. The programme was such a great success that 26% of their job was filled by the internal transfers programme in 2015.
